Glad you found this page. Apparently you are somewhat interested in what’s happening here, so let me get you up to speed.

Who I am

I am Denis, from northern Germany and – as anyone would say about themself – just a random guy.

Pretty much all my life I’ve been very interested in computers. Like for many others, the gateway drug for all of this was gaming, which then evolved to tinkering with PC hardware. Of course this eventually made me get a job in IT – and here we are.
Currently I work as a DevOps/Cloud Engineer in Azure. Here is a selection of topics I am interested in and spend my free time with:

• Azure/Cloud/DevOps
• AI (very into that currently)
• Coding
• Home Assistant and home automation in general
• Coffee
• Sports (mainly weight lifting)

I don’t really do social media, so my selection regarding those is quite limited. You can find me on GitHub and LinkedIn however.

What you will find here

I started this blog for two reasons: First, to have a creative outlet, and second, to get myself to understand the things I work on in my free time better. I truly believe that writing and teaching about the things you do can help strengthen your own understanding of the topic, so this is one of the goals I want to achieve here.

You will mainly find posts about the topics I mentioned above on here. Honestly, I am just starting out, so nobody knows where this journey will end up.

Please don’t expect regular or scheduled posts here. I am doing this for fun and as a passion project, and I want to keep it that way. I don’t want to pressure myself into posting something, if I don’t feel like it or I don’t think its ready.
